Coos Bay's top-rated fishing charters
Small-group ocean trips for halibut, tuna and lingcod, with captains who work hard to find the fish and treat you like family.
At Sharky's, we take care of every angler on our boat from check-in to fillet table, you're in good hands.
In season now

Lingcod and Rockfish
Reef fishing a short run offshore. Rockfish limits most days, lingcod on jigs and live bait.

Dungeness Crab
Pots go down on the way out and come up on the way in. Add crab to any trip.

Winter Steelhead
Drift boat trips on the coastal rivers when the winter fish push in from the ocean.

Pacific Halibut
Deep water drifts on electric reels. Most trips pair halibut with a rockfish limit.

Ocean Salmon
Trolling for chinook and coho a few miles offshore.

Albacore Tuna
15 to 50 miles offshore, July to October. Our longest trip of the year.
How it works
Never chartered before? Here's the whole day, from booking to fillets.
Pick your trip and date
Book online in a couple of minutes, or call the dock and talk to a captain. Take the whole boat for your group or book a single seat.
Get ready
Buy your Oregon fishing license at check-in. Bring warm layers, rain gear, lunch, drinks and a cooler for the ride home. Rods, reels, bait and tackle are on us.
Meet your captain
Check in at the Charleston Marina before first light. Your captain confirms the time the day before. If ocean conditions aren't safe, you reschedule or get your money back.
Fish, then fillets on the dock
Your captain rigs, teaches and runs you to where they're biting. Back at the dock, your catch is cleaned, bagged and ready for the cooler.
